Who am I?

I am a Brazilian mechanical engineer who made the decision to relocate to Canada in pursuit of a higher quality of life and greater professional opportunities. During the pandemic, I took the initiative to acquire a new skill and embarked on a self-guided journey into coding, which has ignited a true passion within me. Since the day I arrived in Canada, I've been dedicated to studying. In addition to learning French, I've devoted most of my time to mastering Python and coding, along with all the essential skills for becoming a data engineer.

My enthusiasm lies primarily in backend development, where I possess a strong understanding of system mechanics. Moreover, my engineering background has piqued my interest in data analysis. To deepen my skills, I completed Google's Data Analytics certification program, where I gained proficiency in R, SQL, and Tableau.

I am committed to a path of continuous learning and knowledge expansion, driven by a strong desire to keep up with new technologies and industry trends. Recently, I earned a certification in data engineering from Data Talks after completing their comprehensive Data Engineer Zoomcamp.

Overall, my journey has been a relentless pursuit of personal and professional growth, and I am excited to embrace new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. By combining my passion for coding with a proactive approach to learning, I aim to strengthen my skill set and become a well-rounded professional.
